"Kind of disappointed with the maintenance"
I sent my machine in for maintenance and felt like I waited longer than I should have. When it finally came back, it was still acting weird, so now I’m wondering if it was even really fixed. Maybe I’m being picky, but I expected it to work normally after all that.

"Warranty worked out, but I felt a little ignored"
My espresso machine started having issues after a few months, so I reached out to Clive about the warranty. To be fair, they did cover it without giving me a hard time, and asking for photos and proof of purchase seemed totally reasonable.
The frustrating part was how slow the replies were. There were a couple times where I felt like my email had just been forgotten, which made the whole thing more stressful than it needed to be. In the end they fixed it and I didn’t have to pay extra, so I’m still happy overall.

"Order was mostly right, just one little mix-up"
I got my order from Clive Coffee and for the most part everything was right, actually, I was happy with it at first, but then I noticed one small item wasn’t the one I picked. It’s not a huge deal, I guess, but it was still a little annoying. Shipping was totally fine though.

I’ve heard a lot of coffee tips from different places, but this was way more helpful than the usual generic advice everyone seems to repeat. It felt easy to understand and actually useful for making better coffee at home.

"Good reputation, and honestly it makes sense"
I ended up going with Clive Coffee mostly because I kept seeing people say good things about them, i get it now. Their site is easy to move around and the information is clear, which is more than I can say for a few other coffee gear sites that seem to make things harder than they need to be.

They also come across like they actually understand the machines and grinders they’re selling, not like they’re just trying to shove whatever product has the best margin in front of you. When you’re spending that kind of money on coffee equipment, that kind of thing matters.
Overall, they seem like a solid company based on my experience. I’d feel comfortable buying from them again, and I’d definitely tell someone to check them out if they’re trying to avoid guessing their way through a big purchase.

"Worth the wait, especially for the price"
My grinder ended up being on backorder, which I was a little nervous about since it wasn’t exactly a small purchase for me. But Clive Coffee was upfront about the timing from the beginning, and their updates were clear and easy to follow. It took a bit to arrive, but it came close to when they said it would, with no real surprises. For the price, I definitely appreciated the communication

I ordered from Clive Coffee and ended up needing to exchange the item because it just wasn’t quite what I was looking for. Their support team did get back to me and helped start the exchange, so I can’t really complain about that part... it was straightforward.

The only downside was that the whole thing moved slower than I expected. I had to follow up once to check what was happening, which was a little frustrating! Not a bad experience overall, and I did get the right item in the end, but it definitely took longer than I hoped.

I stopped by the Clive Coffee showroom and had a really nice time. The staff was friendly without being pushy, which immediately put me at ease. I had to reach out to Clive Coffee about an issue with my order, and the main thing I remember is waiting longer than I thought I would for the first reply. It wasn’t awful or anything, but I did end up following up once. Once they got back to me, the person was polite and they fixed most of what I needed. I’m probably forgetting some of the smaller details, but overall it just felt like the whole thing could’ve gone a little smoother. 3 stars.
